Flowers, trees, grass, bushes – whatever draws water from the ground and CO2 from the air and returns oxygen to us in abundance – these photos are some of my random photos from the last few years. I will be adding to this collection frequently. Stop by any time and enjoy a relaxing moment seeing a few reflections of God’s Glory.
Some roses:
The leaves are bright red when they first come out. They turn green as they grow.
Blackberries – almost ripe!
Lovely to look at, but not to smell! No wonder they are called “Yucca!”
Cultivated, hybrid Honeysuckle
Gorgeous blue wildflower, being “sucked dry” by a silver-spotted skipper butterfly.
Mountain Laurel. This photo taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but the flower appears throughout the Appalachian Mountains, in the higher elevations. Mountain Laurel is the state flower of Connecticut.
A little white and light blue stand out against the bright and deep greens on the roadside.
Rhododendron growing along the Blue Ridge Parkway
Mountain Laurel in the shadows of a rock

↓ FLOWERS AT THE WEDDING – A BEAUTIFUL DAY – MAY 3, 2014 ↓
The flowers arrived by the dozens in buckets on the day before the wedding and Sarah with the help of a couple of friends, arranged them all into beautiful bouquets and vases that appeared everywhere at the site in Chapel Hill.
