None of the kilted men went regimental. . .
May 3rd our eldest son Joshua Ryals Calhoun and his beautiful bride Sarah Lisabeth Corcoran were married. I took mostly candid shots of the rehearsal, preparations, etc. – they were wise enough to hire a great photographer for the “good stuff!” But I had lots of fun. Here are a few photos from the rehearsal and the wedding day. If you want to see more, go to the WedPics site at: www.wedpics.com The code to go to their photo site is SarahJoshua3. i haven’t gotten all of mine uploaded there yet, so drop in every once in a while and check out what’s new. Here are just a few among the many I took (and a couple of them by other relatives)- and by the way, the flowers Sarah chose were gorgeous, and she and her close friends arranged them all. The Scottish thistle was prominent among them. Josh wore his kilt – the “ancient” Colquhoun (original spelling of Calhoun) tartan, and Ashley and Matt each wore theirs in the more common “modern” tartan. They also had a good Scottish heritage friend who wore his own tartan, and our son Adam, who did not have time to have a kilt made, wore a Colquhoun necktie. (Click on the photos to see them larger if you wish.)
It was a perfect day – filled with joy! Have you captured any light lately?’m
