Wild and Glorious
See my writer’s blog at Reflections From a Cloudy Mirror for a little more about these photos, along with a slide show. On this page you can view the photos full size, if you like. It was a lovely afternoon. All these photos were taken today – April 5, 2014.
Dandelions! Can’t get rid of them, might as well enjoy them!
I don’t know what these wild beauties are, but they are so beautiful!
These berries are springing out of or barberry bushes.
These practically cover the lawn every year.
These pansies seed themselves every year.
I love our wild grape hyacinth. Their scent is one of the sweetest on earth!
Daffodils or Jonquils. They never fail to raise my spirits!
This very tiny blossom cluster is one of the first to bloom each spring – all over our yard. When they open, they measure about 1/4″ across!
Periwinkle blue – my favorit shade of blue!
These are dried hydrangea blossoms. I love them all year long. We cut them each summer for the new growth, but save the dried ones for autumn arrangements.
Have you captured any light lately?
