This was the day they chose to show their faces.
Four different birds appeared to me today. I had my big lens on the camera (not good for the type of photography the birds demanded), but I did want to show you the handsome thrush (sort of fuzzy, because he is photographed through a screened window!), a black-capped chickadee, feeding on thistle seed, and a pair of sparrows perched on the crook around which is growing a hummingbird vine. They look sort of like they were trying to hide, but they also did not wish to fly away! I am in love with the humble sparrow. After all, God keeps His eye on them – so do I!
Hope your day was as blessed as mine – and that perhaps some little friends will show their faces to you soon!
