Forsythia, Trees, Bumble Bees

Forsythia – always the first bright color following winter’s gray.

A Forsythia “Fall” I’d not seen it grow this way before.

These wildflowers that show up all over our lawn in April and May are very tiny – about 1/2″ across at most.

Ornamental cherry blossoms – an end and many beginnings.

The contrast of winter gray with spring’s forsythia.

This ornamental cherry tree is an abundant feast for the bumble bees!

Same tree, different bee.

Still another bumble bee, gathering pollen at the same tree.
